Hatching wild birds
I've got some stuff from Harrison's Bird Foods called Neonate Formula

Guff on the packet says "A complete balanced hand-feeding food for hatchlings"

It's a powder you mix with warm water, I bought it last year on the off chance I would find something that had fallen out of a nest, I put up loads of bird boxes & they're all crammed every year! maybe you could dip mealworms in that?

Also - my poulty vet (Rob Reynolds at Seers Croft in Sussex) thoroughly recommended I have Critical Care Formula on hand at all times, as he said it contains everything nutritionally a bird would need to sustain it should it not be able to / want to eat.

Hope you get on ok.
