More brahmas on the way!
#1
30 buff brahma eggs went into the incubator on 23rd, due good Friday or the day before (they tend to be late). So hopefully easter chicks! Smile

The girls are laying well, and I'll be able to report back on fertility soon if anyone is wanting hatching eggs?
Never forget that life is a finite resource.

Experience is something you gain just after you needed it most.

I may well have some more from you Sutty but have to be later in the year as I have a neighbour on chicken sitting duty when I go on holiday at the end of June and wouldn't want to leave her with chicks. Hoping the SLW eggs arrive sooner rather than later - the chicks need to be off heat by the time I go.
I never make the same mistake twice. I do it at least five or six times, just to make sure !

I love Brahmas.  We have kept them for many years and now have only 2 - both cockerels - Toby & Bramble.  They are getting on a bit and are no bother at all.  They are enormous and always remind me of something prehistoric.

I'd love some Brahmas!!
If they can be taught to hate, they can be taught to love.

I have three Brahmas hatched from Sutty's birds eggs. They are real characters and I love them.
Today is the First Day of the rest of our lives.
