'Warty' eggs!
One of my hens is laying eggs with white rough bits on the shell - almost like mini warts! Harder obviously, but doesn't anyone know why? I'll get a pic tomorrow...
It is uneven calcium deposits could be an older hen that's laying them .

One or two of my quail lay eggs like that.   Only tiny 'warts' though Wink

I forgot to get a photo today...but will try and remember tomorrow. Calcuim deposits sounds about right though - and it is a lighter shell than most of my Welsummers so could be from an older hen. Thanks Zenith!
I have warty lumpy eggs from my ex batts, and an older white one lays really weak shells and then eats the egg. They have grit too
It never worries me when I get a little lost, all I do is change where I'm going
